A New Friend（翻译）700字
There was a noise from on top of the barn. The cow wanted to see what it was， but the barn was too tall.
谷仓的房顶上，一阵刺耳的声音传来。奶牛想看看是什么，但是谷仓太高了。
Pig trotted across the yard.
Cow said，“Please stand on my back to see what is on top of the barn。
猪在院子里小跑着。
奶牛说：“请你站在我的背上，看看谷仓的房顶上有什么。”
The barn was still too tall, and pig could not see。
Dog came past.
“Dog, could you please stand on my back?” asked Pig.
谷仓还显得高，猪什么也看不见。
狗正经过这儿。
“狗呀，你能不能站在我的背上？”猪问。

Dog called, “Bird，please come and join us. Could you fly up and see what is on top of the barn?”
谷仓仍然高，狗还是看不着。
狗喊；“鸟儿，请过来加入我们的队伍，你能飞上去看看谷仓上有什么吗？”
Bird was surprised. “There is a little kitten stuck on top of the barn!” said Bird. “She is all by herself.”
鸟很惊讶。“一只小猫在谷仓的房顶上！”鸟说，“她独独一个儿站在那儿。”
“Oh，my！” said Cow. “That kitten needs some help. Please tell her we will help.”
Kitten jumped onto Dog’s back and joined the animals in the yard.
“噢，我的天哪！”奶牛说。“那只小猫需要帮助。请告诉她我们会帮她的。”
小猫跳到了狗的背上，加入了院子里动物们的队伍。
“There is always room for a new friend,” they said to Kitten.
“Thank you for being so nice,” Kitten purred.
“总有一个位置是留给新朋友的。”大伙对小猫说。
“谢谢你们，你们真好！”小猫呼噜叫了一声。
